  1. By the looks of them on YouTube they fly very well indeed on the 50mm fans.. have you any pictures of your build ?
  2. Hi redbaron. Thanks for bringing these to my attention they look absolutely brilliant. They look an Ideal way of getting into building edfs r building your first edf..I like the way they are built on a jig system thats very clever. I agree the 70mm Canberra looks lovely. Cheers Dan
  3. Hi Graham thankyou for your reply and I'm sure once in the air it will look brilliant. Cheers Dan
  4. Nice update guys there looking good, thankyou for doing this build thread Dan
  5. Hi Martin great detailed build thread that you have started, by the looks of it this kit goes together very quickly and accurately. It will be a great help to people that have or want one in the future to build. I am hoping to join a new club in the new year that will allow me to fly bigger planes like this one which I will also be going electric. I am Definitely following along. Cheers Dan
  6. Hi guys. I'm following along watching and learning. I think this will turn into a great thread. Cheers Dan
  7. Hi Eric. I do love a hurricane and yours is looking excellent..those stringers will look great I am not sure if you have said or not is this one going to be ic or leccy? Dan
  8. Hi gary. I have been quietly following so would just like to say what a Great build log its looking really good so far. Cheers Dan
  9. And me.. Some films were reduced down to £3.30 a roll yesterday aswell (5metres)
  10. Hi Peter I have been quietly following along your build.. I must say that looks great fantastic job !!!! Thanks for sharing.. Dan
  11. Hi chris 4 cell 14.8v it should be set on on your charger. 3cells get charged at 11.1v and so on.
  12. Tony no reason to feel thick at all and you have not wasted anybody's time. that what's this forum is all about helping each other solve problems big or small. Ive had lots of help from the guys on here so its always nice to give some help back. Glad you got it sorted. Dan
  13. Tony I use the ar410 receivers my esc are plugged into channel 1..
  14. Tony. On the transmitter. you have the 2 main sticks for controlling the plane. Beside them you have the little square trim buttons on the throttle side press the square button down a few clicks. You should hear the motor arm. Hope that makes sense Dan
  15. Yep, I think Chris is right. I have experienced this in the past ad soon as the throttle trim was trimmed to zero the motor armed and worked.
  16. Hi Tony looks nice.. Out of interest is this flown at SMAC club? Dan
  17. Hi I've just finished covering a dynam hurricane fuselage with 18gram glass cloth and deluxe models eze kote resin. I done 5 coats of resin 2 coats of primer which was wet flatted to fill in a few areas then I gave it 2 more coats of primer. This resulted in a lovely finish. With not much weight added. Dan
  18. Ron..6 cells do you remove the wing to fit the Lipo. 5s is quite a tight squeeze. Mitchell I see you are fairly new to flying? My 5 cell setup I get about 7mins with alot of full throttle.
  19. Hi Mitchell I have recently setup one of these I tried it with an overlander thumper 4250 800kv on 4s with several props which it flew ok but wasn't enough power for me. So then I fitted a turnigy 4248 650kv on a 5cell. Erm that's more like it !!!! Unlimited vertical etc. Lots more fun !!!! I cannot comment on any of the setups you have written down. I would say imo if you want trainer like flying then 4 cells is enough..but if you want lots of power then 5 cells is the way to go.. Remember the auw is around 6lb. Hope this may help Dan
  20. Fantastic build David. Good luck for the maiden !!!! Dan
