  1. Ok, a small electric toy one, mine were all IC from 6.5cc upwards.
  2. I tried taking a helicopter off of water, Impossible,,,
  3. Thanks, I will try it out on 5, nihm cells.
  4. Cobradane, the one I got needs at least 7.4 volts ans as I don't use lipo's in my plane it's at the moment useless to me. OMG whatever happened to std letters ?
  5. You can always cover it with professional sign vinyl,,,
  6. I have a 'Marine' one with the perry carb, ( yes in a plane )even completely closed it will run forever, I stop it the old way, throw a rag into the prop.
  7. I have to ask Leccy, do all EV drivers park the 'other' way around and fix the fuselage to the wing that way around ?🤣
  8. If you want to tune a Zenoa, start by lining up the cylinder ports with the crankcase, I used to get new Zenoa trimmer engines new at the EU importers 2klm down the road from me for around £50 at the time, line the ports up and chuck them into 1/5 scale cars.
  9. I will give you a ring if we have a competition at our club, you certainly wouldn't come last, but probably in the top 3 !😇
  10. Apc are the best, I also like the old Graupner ones, you could flick start a 2 stroke methanol engine without loosing a finger, Master airscrews are rubbish, but really cheap when you are using 20cc + engines.
  11. I have flown a few ducted fan models and if they aren't tuned properly they won't have enough power to fly, I remember my OPS spp rear fan engine on it's silenced pipe ( over 110dB ) I got 22.000rpm on a modified Micro mold fan before it exploded. I turned two aluminum washers holding the 5( (?) separate blades together, replacing the ordinary metal washers.
  12. It will run on any nitro content from 5% upwards, easier to regulate it on 10%, and use 15/17% oil content, it will smoke and that is entirely normal, use a bigger prop to keep the rpm under 10.000rpm on the ground.
  13. It's a suck it and see,,, fiddle around on the ground to get it tuned at maximum rpm with your flying prop, then ( I can't remember) I think I shortened it a bit, so that it only went into tune in the air.
