  1. ooooooooops...........sorry
  2. THIS is excellent example of a complete disregard of H & S . Excellent commentary
  3. Yep sounds like all good advice. Find out which way the plane wants to tip on the stall and go that way. I used some aileron and rudder to get the spin going then controlled the spin rate with the ailerons only. But that was probably my plane characteristics. Try one or two then move onto 3.
  4. I will try ......honest.....if not then the Meteor will come. Of course less any unforseen circumstances rear their ugly heads. In otherwords I might crash the bloody thing
  5. Dylan, I know how you feel. My build will resume once the wings are back from being cut out.
  6. It's got to be for me, a good laugh and enjoying the flight with friends then a perfect landing. That means the plane will fly again!!
  7. Looks like most of us want to more flying and finish all our projects. Will there be enough weeks in the year????? Only time will tell.......   Great inspiration for others though Edited By cymaz on 19/01/2013 17:37:06
  8. Oh nearly forgot....not crash Take some video of my Meteor Monoplane and bore everyone to insanity with it
  9. My flying this year.... Make my loops round NOT Easter eggs Improve stall turns Think about what I am doing while flying,e.g. are my turns at constant height Fly more at other clubs and events That should keep me going till October
  10. Complete the Precedent Stampe as soon as I get some wings back from Falcon Aviation. Richard will do a good job so while I'm waiting I will go and fly and not get impatient.
  11. What a shame. Great shows in the past...big thankyou to all concerned. Look forward to some good news.
  12. I was watching Flightradar24 on Christmas Day ( believe it or not ). Not that much about!!
  13. J.V. is the radio equivelent of The Daily Star. When I'm in the shed its Classic FM, Radio4  or Planet Rock.....Alice Cooper for Prime Minister   Edited By cymaz on 18/01/2013 08:51:59
  14. Spoke to Model Technics and they don't sell direct. So went to my local model shop and ordered a gallon of methanol and a gallon of Propower16 which when added all together will give 9% synthetic oil and 8% nitro. I think this will be OK and within Evolution suggested limits. Will let you all know how I get on when I next run the radial and fly the Meteor.
  15. check the airframe is up to it and doesn't shake itself to it's component parts!!!

    Boxes

Make your on box, there's a clever man. Made to measure and you can fit it around what you want.
  17. My Seagull DA comes in on about 1/4-1/2 throttle as the twin props cause alot of drag. Don't worry, It will soon slows up on the strip!!
  18. Brilliant progress..how do you do it. My Stampe build has hit a brick wall at the moment as I am having the wing ribs etc cut again as the kit ones were really awful.
  19. Thankyou GB for the reply. I will stick with synthetic and forget castor ( don't really want to strip a radial). When I get a reply to my email from MT, I will post it as it might prove useful to other radial owners. Perhaps they might make a low oil content radial mix.....we can but hope....are you interested MT? Edited By cymaz on 14/01/2013 10:11:31
  20. Trouble is it doesn't mention castor in the manual only synthetic..so I wondering will any castor damage the engine???
  21. Do you think this would be OK........Bigbang16?????
  22. Rain in the morning 'till lunchtime in PL25. Then overcast but not a breath of wind, superb still air, not a murmer. Needed snorkle and flipper to get onto the strip though
  23. If the club is going to give out tea and biskwits and I join. The Arising star is a great trainer, as well as Vmar Hornet, Wot trainer (I think they are now discontinued). Seagull boomerang, Pheonix Classic ARTF trainer .40 size (under £54 at Al's Hobbies!!)
