Ta for the reply Greybeard.........I have emailed Model Technics for some info................
" Dear Model Technics
I am currently running an Evolution/UMS 7-77 glow radial engine. I use Prosynth 2000 with a 10% nitro content.
My problem is that I will not be told the total oil content of the fuel by Weston. The UMS 7-77 requires an oil content of only 7 1/2% - 9%.

Do you mix batches to order? Or will I have to mix my own? I have asked on a modelflying forum and owners of these engines say they have to mix their own,
of which I am unsure/unwilling.
The Evoultion manual states that I can mix a gallon of fuel with 18% oil content and 15% nitro and a gallon of 100% pure methanol.
Do you sell pure methanol by the gallon?
What are your minimum order quantities please."
I hope for some info in the next few days
I am currently running my Evolution 7-77 on Prosynth2000 10%. It chucks out alot of oil.
The oil content is not know for prosynth, so I was wondering if anyone knew of a brand that would give 6-7% synthetic oil and 10% nitro as recommended
Before you spend any money.....go to your local club and get to know it. If you like the people then join. I would try the club trainer ( they might/should have one) for a few goes and se how you like it. If its for you then go and spend some money on a trainer plane and stuff.
Wow J H 6, thats very fine. I am not as good as that . I will be happy with reasonable stand off scale ( from very far away!)
Hope you found the link of interest.
The early post was just before bed at breakfast time...I do a split shift, very odd but it works well with home and model building
I was going to try and make them from litho plate with dummy piano style hinges, they won't open but it may look ok.
See here.
This link may be of interest, John, it has really good useful information

Great news!!!!
Richard from Falcon Aviation phoned this morning, and he said that the wing plans have arrived. Not bad as I sent them off in the middle of December
I have been doing all the fiddley stuff on the fuselage. Stringers, hatches, sheeting. Pictures to follow.
3 of us went slope soaring with SAS Wildthings at Perranporth today. 25-30 mph winds excellent lift and great fun.......all done without a hangover!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
If I remember right I set my WT on the recommended point and left it there. I did add the lead in the hatch right at the very front, my WT has been know to fly up to 45mph gusts.......if that helps
Go to braincube aero. They do some great lights. If you give him a ring he should be glad to help. I got some of his kit for my build. Very easy to set up and run.
