Biggles1961
Hi All, Hope i'm posting in the right forum. Quick two questions on 35mhz whip aerials - are they any good?, if so, could someone point me in the right direction to purchase one?. Looked on the internet, and only found ones suitable for helicopters, or 'over the pond' 72mhz. Can't afford to upgrade to 2.4ghz, so would like to tidy my models up. Thanks Chris. Andy Gates
I have one fitted to a top quality Webra reciever and it works great on a small electric machine. However I did buy the reciever with the whip already fitted so I can't help with the supply issue.
Graham King
I think Midland Heli's do them. Cant find them on their website, but I'm sure they do ( or did ) them.
David perry 1
Quick uk do one for helis, should work with your models too! Look good and only 16 quid. Personally I always think a whip antenna on a plane looks silly, but each to his own. I love that bit of trailing wire!!! D

Martin Harris - Moderator
Most jets used them prior to 2.4GHz - hava a look at a magazine from 2 or 3 years ago - a thin metal rod usually projecting from the nose...Edited By Martin Harris on 26/02/2010 14:01:

John Privett
Midland helis have the Quick UK ones; Here. (Scroll down about 1/3 down the page - look for "Base loaded aerials".)
