Anyone know what this models is???

Pictured in this months edition of RCME on pg 46 as Sharon Styles's plane and I picked up this photo from RCGroups. Looks like a petrol aerobatic kit and looks fairly stable (as an aerobatic trainer type) with a decent straight mid wing.

Can anyone shed some light on what it is and where I might be able to buy the plans or kit??

The original was a Midwest kit, I believe

Tried a Google search but kits seem to be like rocking horse poo! Only one I could find was a new version with fibreglass fuse etc.

Anybody got ideas of where I might get a CNC kit??

it is a super hots, its either that or a flying machine neither are in productions any more

Sharon Styles's plane was a titan,  it was not that one, that a midwest super hots im pretty sure

It's definately not a 'Flying Machine', I had one of those about ten or twelve years' back.

Might just settle on a WOT 4 XL and fit a petrol 26cc to that; if it flys as good as my WOT Mk3, then it should be good. Pitty thought that CF does not bring out an XL sized kit - I'm still not convinced by these ARTF WOT4s.

The Super Hots plan should be available from Model Airplane News in USA.  Plan number FSP02861

However this looks bigger than the 54 inch span of the 40 to 60 size Super Hots.

Also there is a lot about enlarging a Hots at  rcuniverse.com/forum/m_9625613/tm.htm which is a larger version of MAN plan FSP0481.

 

Note that a plan for a 48 inch Hot Hots is still available from RCMPlans (not MAN )

 

Why not build Mike Delacoles 66 inch Big Easy rather than an enlarged Wot4?  Plan RC1775 from RCME.

Thanks all fore your brainpower.

Have now given up on the Titan/ultra hots idea. I do like the big easy idea and might follow that through, presumably the wing kits and similar to the foam WOT4 wings?
