Just had to move over to the laptop as the desktop not fast enough to handle the new version v3q i think we are up to is it? i just have to rely on the rather poor internet connection i get from my ISP. Lyndsay, are you able to fly helie on the dx5 as i read on the website that they reccomend you use a heli set up to be able to fly all models. Lindsay Todd Posted March 6, 2011 Share Posted March 6, 2011 Hi David, no problems using the DX5 for Helis, you will need to use the heli set up within Phoenix to ensure collective and throttle mixes are correct but thats all pretty straightforward. I did have to use the advanced calibration feature but thats because I use this transmitter for an EDF with elevons at the moment so have the mix switch turned on. In all the time I was on there was only myself, Linsair and rActive. I flew a couple of planes, and a heli then switched to a Hawk. The other two then switched too and we flew the Hawks around for quite a while. When I eventually sussed how, I trailled white smoke. (How do you get the coloured smoke?)
