John Privett
Posted by PaulH on 26/02/2013 06:35:43: Did you make it to the Gratton Invitational and see Mr. Machinsky and his crazy jet glider? What a gas. I don't know what Ali was flying there, but I guess it would have been similar to the Opus that he hurled around the sky in manic fashion at Blackbushe in 2010. PatMc
Hi Panther, a warm welcome from me as well. Can't say I know Grantham but I have been to Toowomba a couple of times so probably passed through & love the area. First visit was about 25 years ago, we had a detour to Esk where we stopped for tea & scones at a place run by a Scandanivian couple. We sat at a table & the lady told me I'd have to use a different chair because the one I was in was "Big Joe's" seat. I thought she was joking but she wasn't. Apparently Joh Bjelke-Petersen was a regular & I was in his seat. PaulH, you must live around Lamington area? Had a great time visiting O'Reilly's. I'd have liked to have been able to stop there for a few days but wasn't able to.

Panther
Eamonn, Most of us Aussies know that one. It sure does put things in perspective doesn't it.
