Dylan Reynolds LaserCraft Services
I'm just curious on peoples thoughts here, I am looking into putting on stitches and rib tapes, but don't really want to use the same colour tex as the wing as it is too see thrrough and you would see what was underneath, I am considering doing it in Antique tex instead, a slight old looking off cream colour, what you think? Dylan Reynolds LaserCraft Services
Now how do I cut circles in tex? hmmmmm
Dylan Reynolds LaserCraft Services
Just as a little reminder of the scale of this thing, and I can't stand it up straight, the ceiling is too low or the floor is too high, one of the two... Dylan Reynolds LaserCraft Services
You're over thinking it PV, it's not a scale model, just something scaley lookey likey, rigged wings didn't have ailerons either back in the golden era, but I am not going down the warped wing road for control lol. I sorted the circles, I tried one of those Gyro cut thingies, but wouldn't cut without tugging and that's a brand new one out of the packet! I resorted the KISS principal, a circular bit of waste from lightening holes cut in a rib earlier today and a No10 scalpel, worked a treat

Dylan Reynolds LaserCraft Services
Sorting out the cockpit area, but before building I need to choose a pilot, trouble is the 2 I have, one is 1/3 scale the other is quarter scale, neither look exactly right but I think the 1/3 scale one looks more suited, what ya reckon?....
