Peter Miller
Roach poles are pretty good and very long. One of our members has one. I have borrowed it in the past.

leccyflyer
The day before our indoor session -at which point no model had been stuck in the rafters all winter - I happened across a carbon fishing rod in Aidi for £3.99 and thought "That would be handy". The very next day, and for the only time, a model got stuck up on the ledge around the heating pipes at the leisure centre. The fishing rod (5m long) was ideal for the task and a minute or so later the model was retrieved.
onetenor
Some fishing poles extend to about 15 mtrs but are pretty fragile in the tip sections so beware of the weight limitations.. They will accept a few ponds but will bend a lot.

Mounty
Sorry I actually meant a 10mtr pole I think a 10mm might have been a little short, Joe
