Danny Fenton Posted April 20, 2015 Share Posted April 20, 2015 Enjoyed a wonderful day at the indoor FF Nats. I had never been before and was really impressed with skill involved. My friend Ian was competing for the first time and did very well flying a Sea Mew. Alex W was in attendance as usual so there will no doubt be a proper write up in the mag. I thought I would post my pics, though not as posh as Alex's they do include the clutter of competition benches. These I feel give an idea of the scale of these magnificent models. My fat fingers couldn't even hold them never mind add the amazing detail. I have some flying videos too if anybody is interested though it was the first time I had used the SLR to do this so they are a little rough. Monz was there too and it was good to say hello. It was really nice to see the Shackleton up close, lovely detailing and a wonderful model. The Tripacer was also one of my favs, but there were so many it's hard to choose. One minor detail, the event wasn't the Indoor Nationals but the Indoor Scale Nationals, the Indoor Nationals involves things like F1D, indoor duration. Example below.
