Cliff Bastow
I picked this up today from my club. it had been left with a note saying free to a good home. I am hoping that one of the knowledgeable members will recognize it. I suspect it is a kit as the formers have nos printed on them. It looks well built and finished. Any information gratefully received with thanks. PatMc
Looks like it could be a Bar-Fli (58" span) or Bar-Flea (40" span) that's been tidied up around the nose area & converted from trike to tail dragger. Plans for both on OZ.

Cliff Bastow
I don't think its the sig four star because as Percy says that has side cheeks and no cowl. I doubt that its an own design because of the printed nos on some parts and the fiberglass cowl but I could be wrong. The wing is veneered foam if this helps. Bob Cotsford
I'd hazard a guess that the cowl is something added on by a PO, but I thought the 4* was a built up wing in any case?
Alan Gorham_
I think it's an Inwood Improver...

namustang1a
i was also thinking it was a inwood improver , had one years ago as my first low winger perchased as a pre built from inwoods stand at west maling show.
Cliff Bastow
I thought the Inwood Improver was a shoulder wing model? or am I wrong.
Alan Gorham_
Yes you could be right, but Inwoods did make two kits, one shoulder and one low wing. Thinking a bit more could have been called an Innovator. The tail, fuse and canopy look like the Inwoods style anyway.
Cliff Bastow
Well would you believe it, I am at work having a tea break and I was leafing through an old Radio Modeller magazine I found in the canteen dated 1994, and there in the back pages is an Inwood Models advert showing the Inprover and its definitely not that. however the advert also shows the Inwood Pacer and I am pretty sure that what it is! the picture looks right and the wingspan is correct at 54". The advert even says built up fuselage and foam wing so I think the mystery is solved. Many thanks to all those who tried to help. Martyn K
I am fairly sure its not a Bar-Fli Ailerons are wrong Front fus is wrong Rudder is wrong Tailplane is wrong Martyn Edit - that's what happens when you take 30 minutes to reply Edited By Martyn K on 08/10/2015 15:51:
Alan Gorham_
I knew it was an Inwoods kit, but my memory failed me on it's name. 50% right...sigh!

leccyflyer
I think Patmac's correct, it looks just like the Bar-Fli that my pal Ray flies. Like this one.
