David P Williams
You'll love it Rob. I built one a few years ago with a pair of thunder tiger GP42s, it flew very well. PLENTY of power.

PeterF
Rob, You will be fine with 2 x ASP 46, mine has flown since 2002 on a pair of Enya plain bearing SS40 engines without any issues, and they are not the most powerful 40 size 2 strokes. It is a lovely model and always draws admiring comments at the field. I am now electrifying mine, hope to have it back in the air next month. Rob Dunn
Hi peterF great colour scheme, looked at electric i am more of an i.c person have 2x jest engines on board glow systems to help stop dead stick engine.
PeterF
On board glow is a good idea, I had the South Herts Models intelligent glow drivers on mine and in 12 to 13 years only had 2 engine outs.
Rob Dunn
Could not wait any longer had to start First things first to make up the stab and fin covers 1/16th balsa sheeting. On to the stab itself, Very easy to go together and the instruction if followed you can not go wrong Edited By Rob Dunn on 26/10/2015 08:49:
Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
I have just had a look at the instruction manual for this kit - you can download a copy - comprehensive is not the word! Wow, some kit manufacturers could learn a lot by looking at that. It's excellent. BEB

Rob Dunn
Finally finished the stab and elevators. Scale fin and rudder coming on nicely, Not as hard as it looks you do need to measure twice before cutting and take the time.

PeterF
Rob, That takes me back, it is looking good. As you progress the fuselage you will be amazed at the yards of stringers and acres of sheet that get used up. I am in deconstruction mode with mine, I took a razor saw to the cabin today to build the battery tray, need the batteries as far forward as possible to give the correct balance. I had 12 oz of lead in the nose of mine when on IC as I did not build the back end light enough. Bear that in mind and keep the back light. My model will be that 12oz lighter when I finish.
