Geoff S
TED talks are often interesting. This one seems appropriate to this forum. What do you think? Geoff
john stones 1 - Moderator
I think it's very clever stuff Geoff, talk of billion pound commercial interest bewilders me though, but then I'm a luddite John
cymaz
There was something on the Gadget Show on tv last week about autonomous quads following you around. It was on the piece about the CES ?Usually, it's the other way around for me...I go and follow the plane to wherever it's landed Edited By cymaz on 22/02/2016 06:31:
kc
The really clever bit seems to be to get someone else to pay you to play with toy airplanes!

Bucksboy
Very interesting and very, very clever. All those machines though have the same Achilles Heel of duration. No doubt equally clever people are working on this problem which will eventually trickle down to us.
Simon Kirk
Video won't load for me but if you guys Google lily that's an interesting concept. A full autonomous quad for extreme sport videos. You can a gps watch that makes the quad follow and film you for example if skiing or surfing (it's also waterproof)It's still in design and prototype stages and you never know how much these concepts are just unrealistic pipe dreams, but the idea of it is awesome
