Mike Etheridge 1
Still have my Shadows Mono LP with all their hits including 'Wonderful Land'. Back in 1962 Cliff and the Shadows were top notch, but whilst I was making my KK Pirate or was it My Southern Dragon a year or two earlier Del Shannon's 'Runaway' was top of the charts followed by 'Hats off to Larry'. Was 'Wonderful Land' part of the soundtrack to the film 'Summer Holiday'-it must have been?

Mike Etheridge 1
Not heard that before Percy, even my wife liked it! I have the boxed set of Mike Oldfield's albums, on one of the albums I am sure there is a picture of a model glider, could he have been one of us? The album cover is 'Hergest Ridge' Like with Tubular Bells, the album cover was designed by Trevor Key. It features an Irish Wolfhound from The Manor, called Bootleg, and one of the model gliders which Mike often used to fly from the local hills.
