Micro Aces WW1 models

Recommended Posts

Hi Steve, they fly as good as they look and are much more scale than the Ares models.

I must admit I have the Ares Pup and the Fokker D7. I had to send the Fokker back because the main wings were hopelessly out of alignment and warped. The wings are all glued together so it is impossible to rectify unless you pull it all apart. I had a look in some of the boxes at W & W and one Fokker had its wings misaligned (but not as much as mine) and the Pups had crush damage where held down in the box (like mine was). So it pays to check them out before buying one IMHO. The Pup fly's great but have yet to receive the Fokker back.

Started building my Microaces SE5a today. Certainly a nice thing to put together on a windy wet day when you can't go flying. Will post pics of my build here. Fairly straightforward so far with the clear instructions.

My recent videos of these models flying can be found on my video thread...
