Darran
where do people go to get plans copied so they can use them during a build. I had a printers local to my work that used to do it for me at very reasonable prices, but they have now closed and I have moved offices. So does mine - and they also did a mirror image so I could build the other wing over a plan - once I explained what a mirror image was. :-D
Beth Ashby Moderator
I believe that Rymans also does them... although I don't know how country-wide they are! Beth
kc
If you have the normal type of A4 printer/scanner/copier you can copy the essential bits yourself Most ribs and formers can be fitted onto A4 by carefully placing the apropriate part of original plan on the copier plate. Rolling the plan around a thick catalogue or phone directory and leaving the copier lid open helps avoid creases. Use a white backing sheet. Any larger parts like fuselage sides can be assembled from A4 sheets taped together if you allow a bit of overlap. Of course check that your copier gives actual size and also does not distort in one direction. Edited By kc on 05/10/2016 16:23:

Excellent advice I once learnt the hard way - after cutting out several parts - that the prints off my scanner were slightly scaled: not full size
Geoff S
Yes, Staples in Derby (Meteor Centre, near PC World) is good for copies but someone here said their local branch was poor, so better to check first. Geoff
Peter Miller
Many Office supply stores can do it, I live near a small market town wth an industrial estate. We have two Office supply shops both of which can print AO drawing, enlarge and reduce and even flip. They can also put the plan on a pdf file for future use.
