J D 8
I fly a Zaggi power wing and so long as power is off at touch down prop is fine. If you did set ESC to brake there would be a good chance of it stopping in the straight up/down position and be more likely to snag and be damaged. Engine Doctor
I used a nylon prop on my zagi lasted for years. Not as efficient as a composite but did the job well . You can still find them on line.
PatMc
If the motor shaft is 3 or 3.2mm use a propsaver adapter as illustrated here **LINK** It will also avoid a bent shaft & easy to make if you have a lathe.
Chris Walby
If its a pusher with a normal type prop adaptor it will self undo on a prop strike (my pusher delta does) as long as its not done up too tight!. Works for me!
Jeff Powell
Hi Oldgit I've been flying a Swift 2 for several years with a fixed plastic prop with no problems. If it's your first flying wing you need to be careful with launching to avoid the prop. The Swift is easy to launch using the frisby technique which keeps the hand well away from the prop.
