They work OK but I found that there was too much backlash on the metal gears for the elevator on a Sebart Yak, which led to being unable to find a true neutral. That model was particularly sensitive on the elevator with my set up & I did not have trouble using them elsewhere. I ended up using a JR8231 on the Yak.

I've just bought an aerobatic airframe with 4 Hitec 5625mg servos installed. I've read some concerns over their reliability so I wondered whether anyone here had any experience with them - good, or bad?

Thank you.

In fairness to these higher end servos Robert, and any servo

Just one poor installation, with poorly routed pushrods, tight hinges on surfaces, and multi computer TX settings etc etc etc

And the servo is decried openly on the internet as weak.

Much of our equipment is thrown into a model, with unsatisfactory results

Then suffers the wrath of the World Wide Web

You use them as instructed and judge their worth
