Modelair run three events annually - May, July and September. Although the focus of the July event is scale, there is still plenty of good flying, including scale models, at the other two.

I was there from Friday afternoon, got back late last night. Had a fab weekend with lots of flying and a very good get together with friends old and new. It is a long way from Somerset but well worth it. Thankfully I had today off work, so have spent most of it cleaning and putting the models away.

The Bristol Monoplane, Triplane and Camel were all built by the Northern Aeroplane Workshops in Batley, W.Yorks.

The Triplane was declared to be a 'late production' model by Sir T.O.M. Sopwith himself. Sadly he did not live to see the NAW Camel finished or flying.
