Don Fry
Santa got me another bottle of malt. And a neibour just dropped off some sheeps foot mushrooms he found on his run, so that a wild mushroom risotto tomorrow. Help the expanding waistline. And SWMBO made me clean the kitchen floor, logic, my mess, my job.😡 No complaints when she had the creations wot caused the mess. Geoff S
We have no family and ignore Christmas as much as the media of all types allow (which is not much) but had a wonderful Christmas gift yesterday which was cold (4 deg max) but dry, sunny and with very light winds. I relented on my usual rule not to go flying when the temperature's in single figures and had a wonderful day up at the field. I took my newish ARTF Wot4 mk2 electric conversion and a load of batteries (7 off 4S 4AH) and used them all in 8 to 10 minute flights. There were 5 of us enjoying the weather. One even brought a rocket and had a couple of launches across the fallow ground adjacent to the runway - not really my thing but great fun for the few seconds it climbed and the longer parachute descent. I suppose the Wottie was my early Christmas present Geoff Edited By Geoff Sleath on 25/12/2018 12:11:
