Edgeflyer
My xmodels whisper has a removable vtail with ball joint links from the elevators to their control rods. The ball links are difficult to fix and break apart without risk to the tail feathers. How do folks deal with these pesky things.?

Keith Berriman
I find a little lubricant works or even rub with some wax from a candle or the likes
Edgeflyer
Thank you. I will try wax and may order pliers. I don't think pliers open them do they? They just shut them. Opening is the main difficulty.

Richard Wills 2
Heli ball link pliers is the only real way to get them off without damaging them. They should be dry, lube will just attract dirt and accelerate wear. If they are too tight and not free moving then sizing tools are available also.
