Ernie
Hi Guys, I'm just starting Peter Millers cracking little Feugray TR260 aerobatic job..I reckon there's a lot to learn from Peters construction methods...But, a question......... there is no sidethrust or downthrust shown. Now, normally I'd use about 2 or 3 degrees of each as a starting point. Any thoughts?ernie
David Ashby - Moderator
Ernie, sorry I missed this post, I assumed Peter would be along - hopefully he'll notice this now, if not I'll ask him.....

Peter Miller
OH Dear, How many times am I going to say this. IOf I don't show side and down thrust on a plan DON'T use it. Unless specified All my models are set up zero zero and they fly perfectly
Ron Grant
Hello, I am thinging of building the Feugray TR260 from Peter Millers Free Plan (RCM&E Oct 2008) and had some questions of which most have been answered in this forum, but after reading this months feature on "Stall school" was wandering if some washout on the tapered wing should be included???? Doug Ireland
I think there already is some Ronald. I'll need to dig out the plan but I'm sure I saw that it showed the need to "block up" the wing tips during construction for the washout. Peter Miller
No washout on the wings. If I include washout there are washout wedges shown on the plan. I only use washout when the tips are really narrow or on small models with high wing loadings.

Ron Grant
Hello Peter, Re:- text for building Feugray in RCM&E Oct'08. Can you please confirm deflections as stated ---------- ie high rate ailerons plus / minus 19 mm making total movement of 38mm? cheers
Peter Miller
That is what it says, it is a long time ago so I can't remember but it sounds about right for the high rates.
