Edward Watts
Hi all , I'm new to this site but not to flying. I'm currently recovering a model that I was given 10 years ago . But I have no idea what is replicating . Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Alan Hilton
If it’s 72” span (ish) then it’s a Glens models extra 300 I have one and it’s a cracking flyer Alan
Robin Colbourne
It looks more Sukhoi 26-ish to me. The ailerons appear to start too far out for an Extra 300, and the canopy bottom rear corner and wing trailing edge alignment looks incorrect. I could of course be completely wrong! Andrew Calcutt
Not a cap, they didn't have fairing on the wing,Not sure it's sukhoi, canopy looks a bit small, but could be.
john stones 1 - Moderator
I had the Sukhoi, those don't look like it's ailerons, canopy looks wrong also.

Ray Wood 4
I'd go Sukhoi, What is the wingspan ?? 60" ? DB designed a Su26, but it was built up, that looks like foam. Regards Ray
ken anderson.
I built a DB S U 26,it had a round fuz and foam wing....horrible model...for tip stalling and flicking out of turns....thankfully its not one of them... ken anderson...ne...1.SU 26.dept. Ray Wood 4
Must be the same one 😄 Mine had a ST 2000 On the front and flew well with the power on, but once throttled back had the flying characteristics of a manhole cover !!
