Tim Cheal
Hi Guys I'm after a bit of help if I can. I recently broke a servo arm on my Futaba S9154 servo. The problem I am having is finding a replacement servo arm. The diameter of the attachment (sprocket?) is larger than the regular Futaba servo horns (it's about 6mm diameter) but I cant find any spec that includes this. Does anyone know how I can ensure I order the correct servo arm? Thanks in anticipation Tim
kc
Whilst looking for something else I came across this - I have no idea whether it's what you need but it's worth a look.
Tim Cheal
Thanks kc I called pro-build but they didn't suggest this one, so I'm again not sure of the sprocket/spigot (whatever it is) size? Thanks for answering though. Tim
dave parnham
normal Futaba servo splines are 25T although that servo is only plastic geared digital servo at 4.5kilo/torque so i would personally swap it or the pair if aileron servos for something a bit better spec. Tim Cheal
Thanks Dave That is an option, but the model has 2, they are bigger than the normal servo housing and if I can I would like to try to replace the arm. It's also a £60 servo that I would rather not bin! Tim
John Lee
Specs here - it may be worth dropping them an email "Notes: No other arms will work on this servo, because of the unique spline size. Stock/Manufacturer #FUTM0214 ''
John Lee
It may also be worthwhile posting on the GBRCAA Forum, their Members are the most likely to have spares lying in a draw.
