simon barr
Does anyone have any experience regarding the Seagull Maule, please? There are only a couple of videos of it on YT, and the likes of RC Universe etc, don't go into any detail regarding flying. Does this mean that it's a dog that should be avoided, or is your experience good? Just asking as I may be interested in getting one. Thank you. john stones 1 - Moderator
Not seen one in the flesh Simon, Glens Maule did well a few years back. Never had a Seagull model I didn't like myself, currently got their Funky Cub and that's good.
Denis Watkins
I cant see any other listing than the 6ft wingspan Seagull Maule Simon, Is this the 6ft span you are asking about? As I own and fly the 6ft Cub, the Taylorcraft, and the Maule And seemingly all similar, they are very different weights, flying characteristics and landing speeds. The Maule is very heavy, good in the wind, but hopeless if deadstick, as it is so heavy. BUT if flown properly, it penetrates wind best of the 3 and keep it moving all the time, no problems then Edited By Denis Watkins on 02/01/2021 20:45:

simon barr
Thank you guys, it's obviously not a very popular model. Cymaz - Yes, I've read that review plus one other (I can't recall which), but neither go into any detail about the flying qualities of the Maule, and the videos aren't much help... maybe that tells me what I need to know! Thanks again.
