Sealing decals.

What would you use to seal decals, vinyl on Oratex ?

I've always used a coat of clear, matt or gloss to suit the model. Is it electric or glow John? RIP Solarlac Clearcoat

It's a mates 1/4 scale Nieuport, decals are complex shapes (devil/goose) petrol engine.

But, with less acrobatic models, I do nothing, as vinyl is still plastic and

If you are not flying through your own exhaust

I just wipe down after each flight as opposed to the end of the day.

Or if really finnicky, the suitable varnish blown on, on a warm day, not zero degrees like today

On my electric models, I give the airframe a coat of Plastikote lacquer from an aerosol. It's available in matt, satin and gloss, and hasn't reacted with any of the decals or paints I've sprayed it over, mostly foamy warbirds.

Obviously I've no idea how it resists fuels.
