Mitchell Howard
Hi - I've made another post about an incident with my trainer's only LiPo. As a result I wondered could anyone recommend a good quality/cost balance pack? I've seen Amazon UK Youme brand but not sure whether I'm asking for trouble at that price. Looks easy to spend silly money on it too. Hoping to get a couple of packs in time for Thursday 1st this coming week.
Caveman
Mitchell, how about this https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-heavy-duty-3300mah-4s-60c-lipo-pack-w-xt90.html?queryID=385b94fbc3dea33aa992d63eb377830a&objectID=69114&indexName=hbk_live_magento_en_us_products Or https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-nano-tech-3300mah-4s-25c-lipo-pack-w-xt60.html?queryID=c09d7d2ef1198880ef05e44550feb7ed&objectID=85751&indexName=hbk_live_magento_en_us_products Or have a look at 4Max website GDB
Alan Gorham_
I will recommend 4-max to you. I have half a dozen of their lipo packs of different sizes and have had consistently good and reliable use out of them when compared to the HobbyKing packs I have bought which all died young. You will get quick service from 4-max too so may well have them in your hand by Thursday, assuming you are in mainland UK.
Maurice Dyer
Never bought hobbyking, so don't know. Had two 4 max 3 s. Not buying anymore. No power when compared to all I buy from now; Overlander supersport. Never had a problem with puffing or lack of power. I Maurice
J D 8
Last week I had some 3s 2200 Zeee battery's through Amazon prime, arrived the next day.

This is my backup option if HK doesn't reach me in time. UK warehouse shipment and parcelforce 24 (hopefully that's hours not days) should get me sorted. Thanks Alan - they're a little steep and have had a telling off shipping in normal post so charge £11 to ship. Maybe another time!
Alan Gorham_
I am well aware of their prices. However as I said, buying their batteries has worked out to be better value for me in the long run than some other vendors. And you were asking for them by Thursday which some other suppliers may well not manage.

Not had them before but went for them as they are a middle of the road price. Something I have found is a pretty good policy for many items you want/need.? Mitchell Howard
These Zeee packs came yesterday and the cells match very closely. Worst case delta was 0.003V on one pack and 0.007V on the other. Time will tell over how they charge. They've got EC5s on which I wanted to move to anyway, so got to get a charge lead made up and get the ESC converted.
J D 8
My Zeee packs also had well matched cell, also instructions for not leaving them fully charged not even for a week. As you say time will tell on performance. Deans as ordered on mine.
Mitchell Howard
Does anyone charge their LiPos the night before flying and leave them until use the following day, or just charge them before setting off?
