What impact do turns have on a motor

The problem is that most plane brushless motors are so tightly packed inside that to increase the number of turns you have to use a slightly thinner wire which reduces the maximum amps that it can handle. The result is that for a slightly lower amp figure the motor can produce at least the same torque but at lower revs.

Finding the best motor for a particular plane can involve a making a choice from quite a number of variables.
