Hitec Servo horns

I have 4 Hitec HS-85MG servos in a 3D foam model which was given to me, the problem is that the servo arms are a bit too short to get sufficient control throws so performance is mild rather than wild. Can anyone tell me the part number for the right Hitec spares or point me in the right direction for longer replacements?

I could but I'm bone idle and would prefer the no effort solution 🤣

Thanks for the replies but do all Hitec servos have the same output shaft diameter or are there different diameters for standard size and mini/micro servos? If the diameters are different which arms fit the HS-85MG?

Yes but are the diameters the same across the range. Spektrum servos have the same number of splines but I believe that they have different shaft diameters for micro/mini and standard servos.

Hi Shaun,

 

There are a number of different splined shaft sizes, depending on the servo.

 

This page gives the part numbers for servo arms for various HiTec servos. The HS-85 uses horns 7, 8 and 9 on the chart. Part number 56326 for the horns only, or 56327 for the horns and hardware set (screws etc.).

They are widely available, an arm, a cross and a disk in a pack for under £2.00. The arm is 28mm from point to point, the cross 22mm from point to point and the disk is 16mm diameter.

I have no epoxy so I would have to search the internet, order some and wait for delivery.

Not even an old electronic circuit board from a radio or burnt out servo,,,

 

Mine is from and old air con circuit that burnt out.
