By kind permission of the Norfolk Gliding Club. 79th anniversary of the Kassel raid, model aircraft commemorative event. Friday the 29th of September 2023 Tibenham airfield Norfolk. The event is open to any model. There will be a minute silence at mid-day. Caravan and camping will be available and there is also toilet facilities. It will basically be the same format at Tibenham on Friday, 29th September, but with better runways. Hope to see you there. Postcode for the airfield is NR16 1NT We congregate at the intersection of the two main runways. Fingers crossed for some decent weather. Brian. So no show, but an event and if its anything like the Shipdham that was relaxed, friendly, great flying and very poignant moment with bugle, flag bearer and short reading of remembrance from those that lost their lives on the ground, air and sea (as it was a WW2 airfield).
