Not seen the Acro Wot XL now for sale for over a year now .Anyone know if Ripmax has discontinued this model

It looks to me like the Ripmax ARTF Wot series of model has vanished And the only way to buy a Wot model is like the old times ,direct from Chris Foss but he does not do the Acro Wot XL

It turns out .The factory that produced the Wots model shut down in the covid and never re opened and Ripmax has not found any other factory to carry on producing the Wots model .So I think we have seen the last of the ARTF Wot 4,Acro Wot and the Wots Wot ☹️

Sad to lose such good models

That's both sad and surprising because they're popular models as evidenced by the regular comments here (including yours) about trying to find stock.  I have a balsa/ply ARTF Wot 4 powered electrically and it's been very good and well-built/covered.  IIRC it was £110 from Kings Lynn Models - cheaper than a kit at the time.

Is there anyone here who hasn't had a Wot4 of some sort?  I built a Mk3 (tapered wing) some years ago as well as the ARTF I fly now.
