Bob Holroyd
Hi. Has anyone any comments on the CML Top Gun Xtreme. Cannot find a review anywhere. Thanks
kc
Bob, Welcome to the forum. I suggest you ask a moderator to change the title to CML Top Gun Xtreme to grab the attention of those who know this model.
Peter Jenkins
Interesting. I just looked up CML Distribution that has Top Gun as one of its brands. There is nothing about a model called Xtreme. I did buy a Bucker Jungmann ARTF kit from Top Gun over 20 years ago but the listing on the CML/Top Gun section is just about RTF trainers and park flyers. I think you may have got hold of the wrong company/model. How did you hear about it in the first place? Can you point us at a website? Denis Watkins
Is it this one
Bob Holroyd
Yes, that's the one. Acquired it from a reliable friend. Goes together well, despite a few issues with what seems like a lot of nose weight .Using a Force 46 plus digital metal geared servos on all channels. Denis Watkins
I don't own one, but have flown one Bob, and is very agile, with the wide chord wing and short moment arm. Very good at low speed and will teach you lots. On take off, do not hike the nose up with too much "UP" elevator as the tail will hit the ground. Go off steady, with progressive throttle until the wing gains lift and gets it off safely; you can hike it up all you want then, when the tail is well clear of the ground.
