Rocker
Have a Futaba 10J Transmitter and have always used the Futaba R3008SB receivers in my models .I am about to change 3 models over from Spektrum to the Futaba 10 J .So I need 3 Futaba receivers to do this Was going to buy 3 R3008SB but I do not use telemetry so was thinking of getting 3 R2008 receivers. Anyone tell what is the difference between the 3008 and the 2008 .I do not use telemetry It is just that the 2008 are a bit cheaper I
Jon H
I think the SB is for Sbus compatibility and there might be a higher voltage tolerance on the 3008. I have 2008's in plenty of models and they have worked very well for me.
GaryW
The difference between the 2008 & 3008 is the Modulation Type in similar way as Spektrum DSM2 & DSMX....... the Futaba 2008 is S-FHSS and the 3008 is T-FHSS not all Futaba Tx's transmit both T-FHSS & S-FHSS some only do one or the other where as the Futaba 10J does transmit both Edited February 21 by GaryW
GaryW
Also The Futaba 2008 is S-BUS only where the 3008 is S-BUS & S-BUS 2 compatable
