Phil Winks
Not photoshopped honestly ben it is a genuine aircraft honest now if you wanna see close formation look at these guys. I've studied this carefully and kinda believe its genuine as I believe the top aircraft is further away

Ben Mullins
I think it could be a Squarecraft Cavalier (Erics piccie) with a tail wheel adaption. Only reason I know this is by typing G-BCMJ into a reg. list and finding Cavalier. I found the same aircraft only with a Trike U/C, which made it look like Piper Cherokee. Ben Mullins
sorry . wont next time. Or i will but wont say what I found out . Now this is going on my knowledge. It looks like an German WWII Arado jet bomber thing (228?) Cant quite remember the number. With some of the engines from a Stirling/Halifax. Am I close? Ben. doing coursework
Phil Winks
Ok Ben a clue or two. Its not German in any shape it is in fact British/canadian and was designed at a time when light alloy supplies were considered to by likely to be in short supply and lastly it was obsolete by the start of WWII but did serve as a transport / glider tug now I'll shut up in case I give it away lol
Simon Chaddock
Phil That took some finding even with your clues! Armstrong Whitworth A.W.41 Albemarle. I thought I knew virtually every major WWII aircraft but not the Albermarle - and they made 600 of them!
Phil Winks
There you go Simon same went for me when I discovered the photo I was like WT% is that lol
Phil Winks
Her's another British built rarity obviously early jet era its main claim to fame is not actually any thing to do with the fact that its a flying wing though
Peter Miller
Phil, without looking thorugh books. I guess a Bristol Bolingbroke and the flying wing may have been an Avro design. Probably wrong, just guessing
