Ben Mullins
Exactly! I do remember seeing that picture before, but had no idea what it was.
Peter Miller
Gemma, Right, you have been looking at my gallery but it isn't A Teverson Bisport. It is THE Teverson Bisport.
Gemma Jane
No actually Peter, Waits Farm isn't a million miles away from where I grew up, to me it is a type, the fact it is the only one in existence makes no odds to me. I believe Mr. Teverson won a number of awards from the then PFA for designing and building her. So no need to look in the gallery.
Gemma Jane
As we haven't had any more, try this one, not quite as rare as the Bisport, there were two built, I chose it because it reminded me of a single version of the Philips ST2 Supertwin which I hadn't a clue about:
Ben Mullins
WOW! way to choose a difficult one gemma . This is one I have no idea about. Seems Goldern era to me, bu tthen again it could also be 1950's.
Gemma Jane
Ben, very good thinking regards golden era, but actually somewhere between that and the 1950's. There is a good reason why it looks a little earlier than it actually was, which might help with the identification.
Matthew Lloyd
Dunno what it is, but it sure won't fit in the car.
Phil Winks
Now there's a challenge Gemma this'll take a while but think I might just work it out before the end of tonight if my toothache don't flare up again

Phil Winks
Now then Gemma got to take my hat of to you lady too good for me as for yours not a clue bit to long in the nose for a miles M64 and can't be as I'm certain that more than 2 of them were built to be precise mine is a Beriev be200chs operated by the russian major disaster agency
Gemma Jane
Nice piccies Phil, hope the tooth is feeling better. A clue to my mystery aeroplane, it had more aggressive intentions than it looks would suggest!
Phil Winks
Thanks for the clue but to be honest with only 2 built I'm guessing the chances of finding out what it is are slim still always one for a challenge I'm not giving up yet
Gemma Jane
OK Phil, it is a very difficult one, it is a single seat fighter bomber of which only two prototypes were built, the idea being that it was constructed making minimal demands on 'strategic' light alloys, by the time it was developed the alloys were plentiful so there was no need for it but it explains why it looks like some kind of homebuilt or golden era aircraft. That should place the period nicely, stick a USAF insignia on the side and it should narrow it down a little
Phil Winks
got to change my attack slightly then I had it firmly in my mind it was either british looks like some of the miles offerings m18 style or thought it might be french definatly had it between the wars though maybe edgeing into the 2nd ok back to the research lol
Gemma Jane
I thought most people would go for miles, it so doesn't look like a WWII fighter. Remember the USAF designators, fighters were always 'P' and they added a letter in front if it was eXperimental
