Rod Parsons 1
Hello all Mike Burch’s original Capricorn F3a model is on eBay for sale. It featured on the front pages of one of the magazines many years ago. It looks to be in pretty good shape for its age. Im not going to buy it, but someone really needs to buy this and preserve it. Maybe the BMFA should buy it and put it on display. It would be a real shame for someone to butcher it, or crash it. regards Rod

John Lee
and.... I must confess I'm a bit tempted. I had a Skyleader SLX back in the day & always admired Mike, his flying & his models (& car - Cortina V6 Savage!). I no longer fly IC, would it be sacrilege to convert it to electric? Peter Jenkins
I'm sure I have that copy of RM in my loft. I've also got a new OS 91FX that would give adequate power without resorting to screaming revs! But, I don't get the time to fly the others in my fleet so just another hangar queen probably! I think you'd struggle to get cooling to the electrics in this beast John and yes, it would be sacrilege!
