Engine Mount Clamp

Hi,

I have recently purchased a Top Gun Javelin 2,  it its supplied with a metal engine mount & a two clamp bars, it tells you to use nut & bolt to clamp down the engine, so you don't actually put the screws in the engine holes. I have never seen this before, normally i just bolt the engine down with screws & nyloc nuts. Has anyone come across this? Its it ok/or should i purchased a different mount?

Thanks

Anthony

I first saw one in an Irvine Wild Card I bought about 5 years ago......I didn't like the look of it either but used it anyway.....mainly to try & prove myself right when the engine vibrated loose.....I'm still waiting!!!!

Use threadlok, tighten the bolts fairly tight & you'll be fine (& I never thought I'd hear myself say that!!!)
