Simon Roberts
Hi David - Im going to have the room hosted from 8pm onwards so when ever you fancy just drop by Team Speak is basically like skype but is used a lot by gamers (http://www.teamspeak.com ) as can have many many people in one room to talk between each other and yes will need a Headset, no problem if dont have can use the phoenix chat to talk between up or add me to skype if want to use that instead, my skype username is wynthorpe Simon

Alex Leigh
As long as there are no heli's! I'll try and get in if I have time.
Delta Whiskey
..............and what's wrong with helis ! ?
Andy Hatton
i cant get helis to fly properly using my dx6i - i think my settings on the controller arent correct. Love Phoenix though. I do find that increasing the thrust to weight ratio on some of the models makes them a bit more entertaining!
Delta Whiskey
On my Futaba TX's I have setup a sim model one for fixed wing and one for heli's, if you google it, you will find out how to set the dx6i for heli's and phoenix. Enjoy !
Alex Leigh
i just get depressed when I realise how well people fly them I don't have a spare memory for the sim anymore

Simon Roberts
Doing my head in! I cannot for the life in me get all switches to work (not that i need them as only fly the irvine tutor haha)....
Alan B
Hi Simon Might just drop in Andy if the DX6i is like the DX7 then you must calibrate your transmitter in Heli mode and not Acro. You should then find you can then fly both Heli's and planes on the one channel Al
Simon Roberts
Mines setup as Acro so will have a mess around again in a little while Im loving the sim though, ive only been flying about 3 months (and in that 3 months only floiwn about 5 times) so its really helping me

Mike Stevens
Just bought a copy which arrived today only to discover needs a DVD rather than a CD RW player to load - will have to pop into PCW before I can get started. Mike
Adam Lomax
is anyone going on phoenix tonight?Edited By Adam Lomax on 29/07/2009 17:57:
John Privett
Not tonight as I'm away from home at the moment. I'll keep a lookout for an RCM&E session when I return tomorrow. The new version 2.5 seems to connect much more reliably than the previous 2.0 which I could rarely connect to multi-player sessions.
Simon Roberts
I need to reinstall after a format, not tried 2.5 yet! But i'll get installed and host a session tomorrow

Simon Roberts
I tried it out last night, good fun with the old Voip now Edited By Phil Wood - Moderator on 01/08/2009 15:34:
Mike Stevens
I have a major problem with the Phoenix in that I cannot get it to run. I suspect the interface lead as my PC just will not recognise that I have plugged it in. Have removed and re-loaded it several times now and managed about two mins flying before the programme crashes and then Windows comes up with various messages say that the interface device is either not installed or there is no driver for it. I have emailed their Tech support for help but understand from reading around on the internet that the lead has caused problems for others. One the programme crashes it also disables the USB port until the PC is re-started. Hopefully soon I should be able to join in the fun. Mike Stevens
Finally got the sim working - some problem with the USB socket on the PC I guess as I plugged into another one and it seems to have resolved the problems so the next thing is to look into this multiplayer aspect. Couple of oddities I have found though - had a go with the WOT4 and for and aircraft with no dihedral it comes back to straight and level flying when the sticks are released . More time to play tonight I hope. Mike
