  1. You could put a crossgrain balsa infil in to increase gluing area, keep it light though, weight at the back end can cause C.G issues (lump of lead up front).
  2. No Mike, my response has probably been much like yours and many others on here, and responded everytime.
  3. Do we not already tug forelocks, money still rules if that changed I missed it.
  4. Yep, plenty waffle, big words, big promises from them, that's how things usually go.
  5. Do yous not think the Chinese would put out modules, price would likely come down some.
  6. Some pictures of the plan Mark ? And welcome to the forum.
  7. I've not seen frequent claims modules are easy to swap between models, have myself asked that question though. When your budgets limited it's an everyday thing anyway, not a biggie for me, buying an Iphones probably a deal breaker for me though.
  8. Had loads of chuck models, only time you break one is when you've no spare one. 😉
  9. Thought I'd start a specific thread to discuss these things, many like myself know little or nothing about them. Bare in mind I'm not advocating we have them, just understanding what they are helps.
  10. Agree C8, but that's the issue we have, plus trying to limit the damage it does to our hobby going forwards.
  11. I reckon the question is "How do we convince the powers that be that we don't need RID" Come up with that gem and we're good to go.
  12. Whilst I'm far from being a fan of RID implementation, I ain't so sure "my model hasn't the room to fit one in" is accurate, only had the one browse to look at them, various size units about, 1 weighing 10g. No doubt many are better informed on the things than me though. 😉
  13. I live opposite to where this took place. https://www.thefirstairraces.net/meetings/do0910/events.php
  14. "It's laid out to get the answer the CAA want", "the outcomes decided before we complete the survey", make your minds up, is the aim to encourage folk to respond or not ?
  15. I don't mind those connectors, pretty sturdy and you can can give the studs a good turn, used on quite a few artf's I've owned and never failed me.
  16. Complaining is easy, so is giving articles you have no interest in a miss, no idea what purpose is served by highlighting people who at least contribute ? Can you do better, or even take the time to give it a go ?
  17. You could also start specific threads on power units, or any other threads that help the group find info easy rather than looking through long blogs, general chat thread maybe.
  18. You gents that are receiving your FW 190s, can start your own threads in the 2024 mass build section, it is not a single thread, you can have as many as is required.
