    Could you let us in on your favourite ?. Tried almonds of stuff. The comments about Humbrol are interesting. If I had a good air fed mask system I would use epoxy. Sprayed full size aeroplanes with epoxy.

    Thanks steve, I have the manual, but how do I enter the programme mode to change something ??. Once the ESC is in the model and set, how do you get back into programming ??? Cheers

    I did this for my latest. Unless I did something wrong, it took literally eight (8) brush coats to get a good colour on the model. It was over white tissue doped onto balsa. Maybe I should have put a dark primer on first, Then the olive drab b and q emulsion. I am going back to Humbrol. however expensive it is. Never had a problem with Humbrol.

    I don't have a programme card and I'm not sure what I set the low voltage cut off too. The question is this: when my 4s gets down to about storage voltage (15 .4 ish), you cannot throttle up any more. So how do I start again as if it's the first set up on this model ??. Motor is 3540 thumped running a 12 by 6 all leccy prop.

    Just finishing a Flair SE5a, modded for sparks. My first one weighed in at a tad over 5lbs and had an OS52 and is lovely. This one has a motor I've propped for 700 watts on 4S. About one horse, which is what the OS was putting out. Makes sense or ??. Maurice

    I have been running everything from Cox .020c.f. to fill size Pratt and Whitney Gas turbines ( it was part of my job). Additive 1. Correct fuel. Additive 2. Manufacturers operating procedure adhered to. Additive 3. A brain. No probs.😃

    Feeling melancholy tonight: isn't it sad how we have to rely on A to contact B who knows someone who knows C and can make a copy of a copy etc etc. I think the 1970s/80s were the hiatus for the hobby. Certainly for Aeromodellers as opposed to fliers.

    Just a thought, I want to buy A LASER 70, but if I mount it upright, isnt the carb fuel inlet to high for the fuel level ? Conversely will it flood if I invert the engine, Its going in a Panic ?? Maurice Edited By Martin Harris on 19/12/2020 17:45:33
