jeff2wings
Nice photo of a nice plane , reminds me of Pete Hollands' Archie , think I have the plan artical from the 80's for joshephin
fly boy3
Hi Jeff, it could well be an 80s plan. A fellow club member now sadly missed built one many years ago. At the time I was learning to fly a YAM. and always loved that bi plane. Managed to get hold of the plan when he passed away, and built my own. Cheers. Tim Hooper
I know this model has a thread all of its own, but it seemed fitting to add a few pics here.... 65" Blackburn B2. 8 1/4lb AUW. 1100 watts on a 5S pack. tim
Terry Walters
Here's my DB Tiger Moth! I ran a thread on its maiden recently. My first bipe and so pleased with it and it flies really well. After Tim H's Airspeed Courier build the next will be a good old Flair Puppeteer and I still have a DB Cirrus moth in the cupboard! Reno Racer
1/6 scale Neuiport 17 from Balsa USA Kit. Electric (couldn't find a nice and cheap 30 FS). Flys loooovely. My trainer for 1/4 scale petrol powered Bipes. 1/6 scale full body pilot is from Dragon dressed in appropriate gear, also from dragon. ABS cowl in the kit was rubbish, so fitted a slightly modified aluminium one from flair legonaire. Chris
fly boy3
Beautifull Christian. I love it. Cheers
Reno Racer
I'm a much better builder of Scale WW1 Biplanes than Pilot. IMHO, WW1 Bipes are the hardest planes to fly scale like. I can throw an Edge or YAK around all day with ease, but flying a Bipe takes more skill, I think. Sadly, I sold this plane to fund other builds. I can't wait to finally, after waiting 3 years, to get my 26cc Petrol 1/4 scale Balsa USA Neiuport 11 built and flown.
