Mark Lubbock Posted June 17, 2011 Share Posted June 17, 2011 We are all going tonight for the weekend in our tattty old Mercedes camper, let's hope the weather forecast is wrong!! We live in Herefordshire & so far the sun's still out, let's hope the rain passes & clears later, the forecast says it should ease by around 7pm & be showery Sat & good on Sun. In the past we haven't let the rain spoil things, get the wellies, waterproffs, gazebos & barbies out & of course a beer or two helps! The do in the marquee is normally pretty good too & apparently there is some model flying going on as well(!) You may find me in the back field with a couple of control-liners in the evenings, I'm the one with the long hair!. Looking forward to it, have a great weekend all!! Interestingly, the BMFA stand has a very atmospheric photo on it's board. of a young lad about 7 launching an Ajax rubber powered model.
