Peter Miller
I suspect that you had the KK Hurricane with the EenMac engine. I do not remember FRog producing a plastic C/L model. There were a lot of differenr Cox C/L models about though so could have been one of them
Stevo
Thanks Peter, nope, not a Hurricane... it was a civilian aircraft... I remember white and blue... definitely Cox
Chris Bott - Moderator
Lost of info on Cox models HERE There's a model database. I seem to remember the PT19 being popular (click on #5700 PT-19 to see a pic)

John Privett
But Dave, let's look on the positive side. At least the photographs were better (technical quality, if not content) than many sellers manage. And whilst I, and I guess many others, haven't a clue where "WESTON FAVELL CENTER" is, at least we now know there's probably little to be found there to recommend it... Though I do wonder whether the American spelling is correct or not for this location.
TheFlyingCrust
Weston Favell is in the middle of Northampton and it has a Shopping Centre. Not that it matters as I doubt anyone here will buy it - but I could be wrong Ian
Andrew Price 2
At least they are Branson baked beans which proves the guy has more taste than intelligence! Weston Favell is not in the centre of Northampton TFC. In fact it's well out, in the eastern district, but, it does have a shopping centre AND it all matters not a singlr jot for, as you say, no-one will buy the thing!! adrian lawrence 1
It's worth more than a quid, it's got a piece of Pilot balsa in it
cymaz
It's a ringer....the lower wing from a moth just plonked on top of any fuselage with matching colour. I'm surprised its not jacked up on bricks with the wheels missing. Edited By cymaz on 26/04/2015 06:44:
adrian lawrence 1
It was until someone stole the bricks, they are in a separate auction

adrian lawrence 1
Yep they are the ones. He was going to leave the nicks with the model (until they were stolen), as being plastic they will float, and he could have then listed the model as a tiger moth sea plane (Pilot monoplane version TM)
Dave Hopkin
the words "would make a good project" on an ebay plane (and I use that word in its widest possible context) is a bit like houses that are described as "compact" or "near local amenities" - one means you wont have room to swing a kitten, the other means on one side is a late night pub the other a take away curry house - all best avoided when buying stuff........ Peter Miller
Well, you must admit that he didn't call it "Vintage" and bump the price up!!
ted hughes
Posted by Dai Fledermaus on 23/04/2015 07:58:19: Put the word vintage in the description and stick a fancy price on it, and what have you got? Don't all bid at once! LINK Went for £200 in the end.
ted hughes
Posted by Stevo on 25/04/2015 12:56:27: Now I wanted one of these so bad as a kid. From what I remember, I had some form of FROG low winger with an Cox 049 engine that never started... Could anyone enlighten me? I'm betting that will get close to £500.A couple of years ago I'd have had a punt at it myself! What price nostalgia?
Peter Miller
Not the slightest bit surprised at the Tempest and Amco 87, in fact I would have not been surprised if it had gone higher. I doubt if the Cox will get to £500 though.

Anyone fancy a 4S 2200mah lipo for £10 plus £3 postage? **LINK** When my old LiPos are no longer 'up to the job' I retire them from flying duties and just use them to power the heated LiPo bag. To avoid accidentally trying to use one of them in a model I wrap a strip of black insulating tape around them. It looks like this seller does the same!
