Paul Marsh
Seems that scammers have found a way in. Whatever, never email or execute their link, or you might find the recipient of a virus, or worse. Moderators: Can a system be implemented to stop this nonsense? looks like it's been done... Paul Marsh
There were 3 "adverts" for phones and laptops of a new member. Looks like the moderators deleted it when I typed the above.

GrahamC
Someone was on the ball. Almost as soon as they arrived, they were gone!
Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
OK folks. We are on the case and all the spam posts have been binned. But Paul's advice is good - don't follow any links these guys give out. Its pretty obvious that they are not genuine posts so you'll have no trouble spotting them if any more do get through. Which we hope they wont! BEB
Paul Marsh
Sorry, I meant RCME, hit the wrong button, and the internet froze about that time. The "F" and the "E" are close together. Can someone change the title name to an "E"? I can't as it's been submitted. Edited By Paul Marsh on 12/01/2012 22:07:

BB
Its not uncommon for some of us night workers to log in, in the early hours, to find & report such occurances. Which are then swiftly checked and where necessary removed. But, that said, well spotted... BBEdited By BB on 13/01/2012 04:32:
David Ashby - Moderator
Yep, as BB says, it's nothing new, I'd describe them as spammers although I guess they're often the same thing. They often come in spates and usually appear in the early hours so I delete posts during my early morning checks. The posters get instantly and permenantly removed so I'm not sure why they bother. Terence Lynock
On a simular note, are old Radio Modeller plans still copyright?
John Privett
As I recall Terence, Radio Modeller, in its latter days, was owned by the same group that published RCM&E. After RM folded, RCM&E was published for a while with a "subtitle" something like "incorporating Radio Modeller." So I'd suggest that the copyright of RM plans is probably held by RCM&E's publishers.Edited By John Privett on 15/01/2012 13:25:
