Chris Bott - Moderator
Colin IU think Tucano folk will have to turn up when they can make it. However, it might be useful to start a thread where everyone can say when they are coming. Obviously the trouble may come if we find out the weather will be better one day than the other. One mistake we made last year was not to get the Vintage builders all together for a photo and a fly together. Let's make sure we do that each day for the Tucanos. If there's interest, it might also be a good idea to do that this year for vintage builders, anyone interested? Cheers Chris
Colin Leighfield
Thanks Chris, noted. I'm lucky in living fairly near and can make it on either day, if not for at least part of both. The thread is a good idea.
Bob Cotsford
I could bring the Eros and Altair along if anyone fancies getting together for a vintage corner
Robin Kearney
Bob, I was planning on bringing my Diamond Demon and the old, but not strictly vintage mini Tyro, so ill join you in that corner. r.

Chris Bott - Moderator
OK it's good news that there's still vintage interest. Matador will be there again.
Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
For the Tucano's what we did two years ago for the Webbit was fix up a meeting time on each day. That we we can all admire each others handy work, we can also book a slot for, say half an hour later, when we can have a mass Tucano fly. I'll start up a thread to arrange something definite. Martyn K
If we are rerunning vintage, I'll bring along the AstroHog, now a bit weather (or ground) beaten. The smaller version is still in a state of major diassembly sadly. Not sure which day though yet. we have 3 coming down from our club, myself, Ian Jones and Tom Doyle (hopefully). Andy Muckley
Hi Daniel it was great to see you there again and what a shame about the midair crash, but these things happen, and thanks to all that attended

WolstonFlyer
Hi, who do I need to email about camping on the Saturday night? I cannot find an obvious contact on the GMAC website, thanks.
Chris Bott - Moderator
Hi WF Much as we'd like people to let us know they are coming, so we have some idea of numbers, unfortunately most just don't. So we've pretty much given up asking, hence the lack of contact details. Trade is a different matter as we really need to know space requirements. There's plenty of camping space though, thanks for mentioning you're coming, see you on teh sat. Cheers Chris
WolstonFlyer
Thanks Chris, see you there.
andy watson
Chris, Just to confirm what I think you have just said above. There would be no problem with me deciding at the last minute to sling a plane, a tent and a 3 year old into the back of the car and head down. Devcon1
Hi, Just passed my "A" Certificate at my second attempt, plan to do the "B" shortly, so will be heading up to Greenacres to enjoy the atmosphere. Regards John
Chris Bott - Moderator
Congratulations John, great feeling of achievement isn't it? For those who haven't passed, remember the atmosphere can still be soaked up while everyone else is flying. Many many folk come and don't fly. Devcon1
Thanks Chris, Yes it is, tinted with a bit of relief as I was running out of time and available examiners (many thanks to Trevor at the Tavistock club). Would be good to put names to faces whilst up there, what's the best way to go about it. John
Chris Bott - Moderator
I just mentioned this in passing on Phils Tucano thread. I've come away from the event before and read about many people who were there but I didn't know. At the very least, if you recognise anything, a face or a model, make yourself known. Depending on the weather I'll be wearing something with my name on and will often be somewhere around the Tx tent. We could have a call on the PA system for all interested forumites to gather for a photo shot mid afternoon maybe?
Devcon1
Chris, The photocall sounds a great idea. Regards John
Chris Bott - Moderator
We really must do a call for all Tucanos too, and maybe one for Vintage models from last year.
