Steve Houghton 1
Mmm........ I wonder. I'm going to my sisters in Blackpool for Xmas so I could drive up a day early, join you for some flying and then drive on up to Blackpool. Definitely worth thinking about. Steve Houghton 1
Olly - I'd be heading up through Hereford, Ludlow, Shrewsbury, Oswestry, Colwyn Bay. Would I be passing your way? If so, I'll gladly pop in for a breakfast brew
Paul Marsh
Could do a fly-pass one day. Flew round the Orme last weekend. Didn't see any models flying, although the wind was in the right direction. Edited By Paul Marsh on 09/11/2012 20:07:

Only joking, could be tricky filing my flight plan though. Edited By Ian Jones on 10/11/2012 01:36:
Simon Cunliffe
I keep fancying a trip out to the Great Orme (however it won't be on the 23/12/2012) can someone point out on a map as to where to park and where people usually fly from. Also are there areas where I shouldn't park or fly from? Cheers Simon PS I have read about the Tank Track car park but can't find any reference to it on a map. Tim Mackey
You use the main marine drive road, and simply turn left a few hundred yards past the Cafe.

Steve Houghton 1
Well, the weather forecast isn't good with rain for Sunday but winds SW 14mph but, we all know how that forecast can change pretty quickly. I shall watch the forecast on Friday evening and if it's likely to be a dry day on Sunday then I will be there and then driving up to Blackpool and Preston for Xmas late afternoon. If the forecast is for rain then I will head up north on Saturday instead. Fingers crossed for the weather eh
