Biggles' Elder Brother - Moderator
I wouldn't touch it. The seller is based in China selling in the UK - but has no history - Mmm? As my mum always said - "if it seems too good to be true it probably is too good to be true"! A 3.1m wingspan, top end model, from Hangar 9 for £21 - what do you think? ben goodfellow 1
they are 1300 pound over here and i guestimate probaly about 2-300 pound shipping , will be interesting to see what it goes for, i once spoke to a police officer for another reason to dowith ebay and he told me over a certain value you are not covered as its classed as a direct debit , not sure how right he was but he said he dealt with this type of thing all the time on e bay . Eamonn Fahey
A lot of information in THIS thread on similar sellers. As Carperfect and BEB advise, go carefully.

Steve Hargreaves - Moderator
It does seem too good to be true but I've added it to my watch list to see what it goes for......
Greybeard
He selling two of them so why not bid for both and get hit twice.
Simon B
It's an auction. It could well be genuine. What'll probably happen is a mysterious last minute bidder will push the price up close to RRP at the last minute.

With free postage from China? And no reserve on a model worth a fortune. And he's got two of them? Somehow I don't think so! BEB
John Cole
I note he registered with Ebay yesterday! And no history under earlier IDs.
John Cole
The person who won this plane has 46% of their 30-day activity bidding with this seller. That's slightly suspicious.

That's slightly suspicious. Hmm, I wonder though... That winning bidder's entire 30-day history took place in the last 17 hours with 5 different sellers and 6 different items - all in the "Toys & Games > Aeroplanes" category. They have a feedback of 107, so it's quite possible that the winner is a genuine ebayer who hasn't bid on anything in the last month but has been busy in the past day trying to buy something and has "won" this one. I could easily be wrong, but I don't think the buyer here is part of the "problem".
