John Privett
OK, you know what's coming next! Don't forget your predictions! We can't all be as lucky as Simon, so go and do then now if you haven't done them already. It's Singapore and a night-time race which cancels out the time difference so qualifying and the race are at more or less the usual lunch-time times, though qualifying is at 2pm and the race at 1pm. FP1 and FP2 both suggest that Red Bull are strong favourites, with Mercedes trailling significantly behind and Ferrari ever more so though Ferrari fared better in FP1 then in FP2. Channel 4's coverage is live this weekend, I'll be watching the race later as I'm out on Sunday - I'll post the results when I can, but it may be later in the evening than usual. John Privett
So, hands up who predicted the first corner "incident"? The results are up and here is how they look for our league today; Results from Singapore Pos Team Manager Pts 1 Revers Racing Pete B 153 2 Flying Eagles Gary Goodfellow 151 3 FalconFormulaOne Tony Hamer 148 4 Team Webby Racing Simon Webb 148 5 AnyoneSeenBernie johnpflyrc 140 6 Pitts Specials john stones 127 7 Mannschaft Carl Brotherton 126 8 Bernies Big Brown Envelope serepton PRO 119 9 VBT Racing Yorik 117 10 Norfolk Flyers Kevin Fairgrieve 111 11 Team Charles Picd Charles Pic 93 12 iqon racing iqon racing 92 13 Slopeflyers F1 jimbo32010 87 14 teewrex John Tee 77 15 Essex Racing Tony Clark 75 Looks like Pete has woken up and is staging a last-minute return to form to try to retain his past titles... Gary, Tony H and Simon were not far behind thoguh, 5 points covered our top 4 today. In the next post, where does this leave the overall table. John Privett
And this is how the overall table looks after Singapore; Championship Standings Pos Team Manager Pts 1 VBT Racing Yorik 1858 2 Pitts Specials john stones 1857 3 iqon racing iqon racing 1852 4 Bernies Big Brown Envelope serepton PRO 1829 5 Revers Racing Pete B 1760 6 AnyoneSeenBernie johnpflyrc 1754 7 Team Webby Racing Simon Webb 1741 8 FalconFormulaOne Tony Hamer 1715 9 Norfolk Flyers Kevin Fairgrieve 1684 10 Flying Eagles Gary Goodfellow 1628 11 Mannschaft Carl Brotherton 1595 12 Essex Racing Tony Clark 1579 13 Team Charles Picd Charles Pic 1416 14 Slopeflyers F1 jimbo32010 1405 15 teewrex John Tee 1056 And it's all change at the top! Yorik moves up a place to the top with the Pitts Specials also moving up a place taking second but only a single point behind Yorik! Iqon slips down to third but only 5 points behind 2nd. No change in 4th, but Pete moves up a place at my expense to 5th leaving me 6th. No change in 7th but Tony H and Kev swap places to 8th and 9th respectively. Gary moves up a place to 10th, with Carl also moving up a place to 11th, meaning that Tony C drops two places to 12th. The final three positions remain unchanged. Next up is Malaysia in two weeks time - so, predictions?
john stones 1 - Moderator
I did well with predictions, pretty confident it'd be a wet race n it was. Thought i'd done badly though n would move down.
Pete B
Not really sure where I pulled that one from, John, particularly as yet again I had just one correct prediction... I'd like to offer my commiserations to those who saw their points disintegrating all over Turn 1 today in a cloud of spray and carbon dust - but seeing as I've seen too many points of my own go the same way this season, I just can't bring myself to..... John Privett
You all know what's coming next, don't you! Don't forget your predictions! Malaysia this weekend and an earlier start than we've been used to for a while! I seem to have intermittent access to the 'net at the moment, so hopefully I'll be able to post this and do my predictions before qualifying tomorrow morning! John Privett
Results are now posted on fantasygp.com, so who did what today? esults from Malaysia Pos Team Manager Pts 1 Revers Racing Pete B 154 2 Pitts Specials john stones 154 3 AnyoneSeenBernie johnpflyrc 149 4 VBT Racing Yorik 147 5 iqon racing iqon racing 139 6 Team Charles Picd Charles Pic 123 7 Flying Eagles Gary Goodfellow 112 8 Mannschaft Carl Brotherton 111 9 Essex Racing Tony Clark 104 10 FalconFormulaOne Tony Hamer 103 11 Norfolk Flyers Kevin Fairgrieve 103 12 Team Webby Racing Simon Webb 97 13 Slopeflyers F1 jimbo32010 86 14 Bernies Big Brown Envelope serepton PRO 76 15 teewrex John Tee 71 At the top today are Pete and John S each scoring 154 points with myself third on 149 closely followed by Yorik on 147. John Privett
And this is how the overall league table looks after today's result; Championship Standings Pos Team Manager Pts 1 Pitts Specials john stones 2011 2 VBT Racing Yorik 2005 3 iqon racing iqon racing 1991 4 Revers Racing Pete B 1914 5 Bernies Big Brown Envelope serepton PRO 1905 6 AnyoneSeenBernie johnpflyrc 1903 7 Team Webby Racing Simon Webb 1838 8 FalconFormulaOne Tony Hamer 1818 9 Norfolk Flyers Kevin Fairgrieve 1787 10 Flying Eagles Gary Goodfellow 1740 11 Mannschaft Carl Brotherton 1706 12 Essex Racing Tony Clark 1683 13 Team Charles Picd Charles Pic 1539 14 Slopeflyers F1 jimbo32010 1491 15 teewrex John Tee 1127 So we have a change in the top two, with John's Pitts Specials just sneaking ahead of Yorik, now 6 points ahead after being a single point behind. Third place remains unchanged in the hands of Iqon. Fourth and fifth places see a switch - with Pete easing ahead of Bernies BBE. A late charge for the top Pete? There's no change in any of the remaining places in our league. This leaves the top 3 separated by only 20 points, and a little further back the next three with only 11 points between them. It's all still to play for with a further 5 races to go. Japan is next weekend and once again an early start - 7am on Saturday for qualifying and 6am on Sunday for the race. So set your alarm clocks, but more importantly; Don't forget your predictions!

Pete B
More a late charge for 4th place, John - the nearest podium place is 77 points away - a bit too much to do, I reckon.... Still, at least I doubled the number of correct predictions from Singapore today - I got two... Pete

John Privett
Right then, time to find out who's going to fall how far... It's another GP weekend and we're in Japan. Or at least the F1 teams are, I'm still here in the UK as I suspect are the majority of the league members - with the obvious exception of those who aren't! Anyway, enough of the preamble, it's time for the customary reminder; Don't forget your predictions! It's an early start, with qualifying at 7am tomorrow, and the race at 6am on Sunday. Ferrari topped P! - but not by much - and P2 was wet with only 5 drivers setting times. Don't forget, you can always change your predictions after seeing what happens in P3, as long as you do so before qualifying starts.

John Privett
The channel4 coverage should be safely over by now, and the results are up on fantasygp.com, so without any further delay here's how we all scored in today's Japanese GP; Results from Japan Pos Team Manager Pts 1 Bernies Big Brown Envelope serepton PRO 131 2 Team Webby Racing Simon Webb 128 3 Flying Eagles Gary Goodfellow 128 4 Revers Racing Pete B 119 5 Mannschaft Carl Brotherton 118 6 Norfolk Flyers Kevin Fairgrieve 114 7 iqon racing iqon racing 97 8 Pitts Specials john stones 97 9 teewrex John Tee 97 10 VBT Racing Yorik 96 11 AnyoneSeenBernie johnpflyrc 86 12 Slopeflyers F1 jimbo32010 82 13 FalconFormulaOne Tony Hamer 66 14 Essex Racing Tony Clark 66 15 Team Charles Picd Charles Pic 61 Up next, what does this mean for our league positions... John Privett
So here is how our league table looks tonight; Championship Standings Pos Team Manager Pts 1 Pitts Specials john stones 2108 2 VBT Racing Yorik 2101 3 iqon racing iqon racing 2088 4 Bernies Big Brown Envelope serepton PRO 2036 5 Revers Racing Pete B 2033 6 AnyoneSeenBernie johnpflyrc 1989 7 Team Webby Racing Simon Webb 1966 8 Norfolk Flyers Kevin Fairgrieve 1901 9 FalconFormulaOne Tony Hamer 1884 10 Flying Eagles Gary Goodfellow 1868 11 Mannschaft Carl Brotherton 1824 12 Essex Racing Tony Clark 1749 13 Team Charles Picd Charles Pic 1600 14 Slopeflyers F1 jimbo32010 1573 15 teewrex John Tee 1224 Well it's still very close at the top, but John has extended his slender lead by ONE point and is now 7 points ahead of Yorik instead of 6! Iqon remains close behind in third. Bernies Brown Envelope now takes over 4th from Pete who drops to 5th but increases his lead on me still back in 6th. Simon's 2nd place today leaves him 7th in the table, but rather closer to me than previously. Kev moves ahead of Tony H, they're now 8th and 9th respectively. Places 10th to 15th remain unchanged today. Up next in two weeks is Austin, Texas, and that's at a rather more civilised hour of the day for us! (I must remember to set my alarm back to its normal time after this morning's 5:40am!)
