A.T.
As no answers, suggest the Flip 40 is very similar: manual at: http://www.kyosho.com/eng/support/instructionmanual/ap_aerobatic/ap_aerobatic_index.html And other owner who might assist could be contacted via pm: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1542542 http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1792376 http://www.worley.me.uk/aeromodelling/mawcraft/html/myplanes/sensation.html (photos & specs) http://www.aerowold.com/topic/sensation/ Alan T. Chris Gilbert 1
I know this is an old topic, but I thought I'd "misplaced" the manual for my Kyosho Sensation (new, fancy radio, vs old, much less fancy, radio), and was disappointed that the information was not on the web. Google did throw up this thread though, so now that I've located the manual (left up very carefully, too carefully) here's the COG and control throw information from the manual. CoG: approx 94 mm from root LE AIleron: +/- 8 mm Elevator: +/- 13 mm Rudder: +/- 35 mm I did have a photo, but for whatever reason it failed to upload, even after re-sizing. Paul De Tourtoulon
Balance your plane on two fingers and just stick a couple of C of G stickers there, job done,,,
Ernie
It really isn't necessary to buy a sophisticated balancing system. Here's my system that has served me well over the years. Buy a couple of bottles of decent French wine (a chateau bottled burgandy works very well) Drink every last drop. Now, cut a slot across the top of each cork. Insert a coin in each slot so that you have a vertical sharp edge. Put the corks back in the bottles. The model can now be balanced on the edges of the coins. WARNING Inaccuracies, can creep in from time to time, due to double vision, or other alcohol related problems ernie 3
aidan mcatamney
Like Paul said, only two fingers required and then mark the spot with a couple of cg stickers.
